Cyclist injured following collision with car

A cyclist was injured following a collision with a car in Leicester – and officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.

The collision happened in Stokes Drive, just before 9am on Wednesday 2 May.

The cyclist suffered from a number of injuries, including broken ribs, and received hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

Officer in the case, Robert Beaken said: “The incident happened at a time when people would have been making their way to work or while on the school run. We believe there may have been a number of witnesses to the incident and we would like to speak to them as part of the investigation.
