Witness appeal after car collided into house

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after two men suffered serious injuries when a car collided into a house in Leicester.

The men were the driver and passenger in a bronze-coloured Ford Focus on the evening of Saturday 7 April, when the vehicle collided with a property in Ryder Road.

The incident happened at around 10.35pm.

Both men were taken to the University Hospital of Coventry where they remain. The two men both suffered serious injuries during the incident.

Minor structural damage was caused to the property.

Enquiries are continuing into the incident and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to make contact.

Detective Constable Seamus Burns said: “The incident happened late on a Saturday evening. We are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the vehicle’s movements prior to the collision to make contact with us.

“Please think back to if you were in the area or surrounding area on Saturday evening and if you saw the vehicle mentioned. If you have dashcam or mobile phone footage of the collision, events leading up to it or the aftermath please get in touch.”
