A 41-year-old man arrested by detectives investigating the brutal murder of Leicester jeweller Ramniklal Jogiya has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The man was arrested from his home address in the Leicester area this morning on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and kidnap.
Of the nine other people who have been arrested, four have been charged with kidnap and robbery, three have been released from custody but remain under investigation, and two others have been released with no further action to be taken.
Mr Jogiya’s body was found on the morning of Thursday 25 January in Gaulby Lane, Stoughton, near Leicester Airfield, and a murder investigation was launched.
