A teenager is in a critical condition following a collision with a car on Scraptoft Lane, Leicester.
The incident, which involved a silver Citreon C3 car, happened at around 8.25am yesterday (Monday) around 150m from the junction with Bowhill Grove.
The 13-year-old boy, who was a pedestrian, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
DC Alison Briance said: “We are continuing our investigations into the incident and are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or saw the car or the pedestrian before the incident, to contact us.”
