Officers would like to speak to this man in connection with six distraction burglaries involving elderly people in the Westcotes and Beaumont Leys areas.

The suspect gained entry to the properties after claiming to be carrying out work at the address or a neighbouring property.

The first two burglaries happened on 7 May at 8am and 8.30am in Norfolk Street and Kate Street in Leicester, respectively.

The next day at 2pm and 4.05pm two further incidents took place in Swannington Road and Belgrave Boulevard.

At the first address cash was stolen but the suspect was told to leave the second property before anything was taken.

The fifth offence happened on 9 May between 10.15am and 10.30am in Ashleigh Road, Leicester when the suspect claimed to be an electrician who needed to check the meter.

The following day, on 10 May at 8am, a suspect walked into a flat in Noble Street and persuaded the elderly occupant to hand over money.
