NPA commander - Inspector Rich Jackson

I am Inspector Rich Jackson and I took command of North West Leicestershire on 30 April 2018 from Inspector Helena Bhakta.

I joined the police service in 2001 and spent the first four years of my career working within the North West Leicestershire area.

I have a varied policing background, having worked in both Detective and Operational roles. I have moved from a Detective Inspector position and am delighted to have been given the opportunity to take command of North West Leicestershire.

My predecessor, Inspector Bhakta, has been instrumental in the great work already underway in our communities to tackle the problems that matter most and I look forward to continuing this.

We have a well-established working relationship with North West Leicestershire Council and other key partners, allowing an effective collaborative approach to addressing local issues.

My staff and I are accessible and have a commitment to improve the quality of life in our communities by working together to target the issues identified by local people. My team and I are available to you please do not hesitate to get in touch and help shape the policing of our area.
