LPD commander - Chief Superintendent Andy Lee

Chief Superintendent Andy Lee is the Commander for the Local Policing Directorate (LPD) which covers the eight Neighbourhood Policing Areas (NPAs) across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

He took command of the LPD in August 2016 and is responsible for the policing of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland which covers the nine local authority areas of Leicester City Council, Charnwood Borough Council, North West Leicestershire District Council, Rutland County Council, Melton Borough Council, Oadby and Wigston District Council, Harborough District Council, Blaby District Council and Hinckley and Bosworth District Council.

The LPD is an excellent team of officers and police staff who have a strong sense of service excellence and a strong commitment to neighbourhood policing.
