Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
There has been an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in Braunstone Town, noticeably around Shakespeare Close, Hastings Walk and the Kingsway. This includes rowdy, inconsiderate behaviour and the use of drugs. We encourage anyone suffering from, or who is witness to, anti-social behaviour to report it to us by calling 101.
Issued: March 2019
What we are doing:Leicestershire Police are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour. Local officers will complete high visibility patrols in and around the identified location of Shakespeare Close, Hastings Walk and the Kingsway. Officers will also utilise the identified location for future community events, promote their activity on social media and encourage local residents to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour at the time of it occurring. Any individuals identified will be dealt with positively and their information shared with partner agencies, including Blaby District Council. Issued: March 2019
