Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
To reduce the number of burglary offences on the Rushey Mead Ward. In an effort to be most effective, local officers aim to achieve this priority by working with partner organisations and the local community to reassure and safeguard the community. This will be regularly reviewed and we will aim to make a positive impact within 3 months.

What we are doing:The Rushey mead has seen an increase in burglary offences over the last month, however we still have a dedicated policing operation in place with dedicated staffing tackling burglary and other acquisitive crime issues. Officers assigned to this operation are conducting high visibility patrols, adding extra assistance to evidence and intelligence gathering, as well as taking action against identified offenders. We have been made aware of people canvassing in the area and knocking doors, the team would request that you are extra vigilant and make sure properties are left locked and secure and if you have any information then please let the Beat team know.
