Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Leicestershire Police have received contact from members of public and local partners suggesting a range of issues and concerns in the area of Hastings Road and Smedmore Road. An increasing number of young people and vehicles are gathering in the locality and this has resulted in complaints of drug use, littering and noise. The dedicated Neighbourhood Team have identified that this location is suffering from anti-social behaviour and have put a plan in place to pro-actively tackle concerns raised. We hope to make significant process within the next 3 months.
Issued: April 2018
What we are doing:The dedicated Neighbourhood Team have continued to carry out high visbility patrols within the locality. Local consultations have been completed by the Police and a community safety questionnaire has also been completed jointly by Police and CRASBU. Conccerns raised are being actively managed in conjunction with parter agencies. Officers will also be making a request to have a temporary CCV camera installed at the location. Issued: June 2018
