What we are doing:The priority has been reviewed there continues to be reports of groups of young people using the area and causing anti-social behaviour. The Hinckley Town Centre Dedicated Neighbourhood Team continue to work to address this issue. Patrols have been conducted in the area to help reduce the number of incidents and build up an intelligence picture of the groups gathering. We will continue to work with the Youth Offending Service and IMPACT Team. Since the beginning of the year there have been a number of young people dealt with by the police and HBBC in connection with ASB issues. There have been 20 young people Placed on Anti-social behaviour contracts with a further group young people on warning letters. There has been a reduction in young people now causing ASB in the town centre with the young people being displaced we will not tolerated anyone acting in an anti social manner to the disturbance of normal users of this area anyone caused annoyance please contact the Leicestershire police on 101. We would encourage members of the local community to contact the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 so we may be fully informed of the situation. Issued: July 2018
