Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
We have received reports of anti-social behaviour, including reports of drug dealing, rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour on Kate Street. This is around the residential premises and the linking pathways.
Issued: December 2017
What we are doing:Housing provider will be evicting an anti-social resident shortly. A number of persons connected to the address have also been arrested for various other matters. Another resident at the location has been given an Acceptable Behaviour Contract to restrict their anti-social behaviour. The beat team will continue to monitor the issue. Issued: March 2018
St Clement's Court, Comet Close was inherited onto the Fosse Ward area from the New Parks area in 2016 following the council boundary changes. It originally house retired people but was purchased privately in 2009 and it now contains three blocks of flats. We are aware that there are numerous issues stemming from the location including anti-social behaviour, civil incidents and crime.
Issued: October 2017
What we are doing:Patrols have continued in the area of St Clement's Court. Work continues with other agencies to stay on top of the issues. A community fair will be held at Newfoundpool Working Men's Club, 55 Beatrice Road on 27th March from 6-8:30pm. This will be an opportunity for residents to engage with a range of local services. Issued: March 2018
