Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Residents have identified regular anti-social behaviour and harassment and criminal damage on Swannington Road caused by a group of local people.
Issued: June 2018
What we are doing:Police have prosecuted one person on the street for offences of criminal damage and public order. Their family have also been given a final warning by their housing provider. We plan a community consultation in the coming weeks to identify further victims and evidence to enforce actions against offenders. Issued: June 2018
We have received reports of anti-social behaviour, including reports of drug dealing, rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour on Kate Street. This is around the residential premises and the linking pathways.
Issued: December 2017
What we are doing:A resident on the street has been evicted by the housing provider due to their anti-social behaviour. We are working with the local authority to take legal actions against another tenant on the street. Intelligence is gathered regularly and arrests continue in the area. Issued: June 2018
