Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Residents have identified regular anti-social behaviour and harassment and criminal damage on Swannington Road caused by a group of local people.
Issued: June 2018
What we are doing:Following a consultation with local residents, police have met with partners and are looking to speak to a number of local residents in the coming weeks regarding breaches to their tenancy agreements. Unfortunately there are still being incidents being reported to both police and the local authority and police patrols will continue in the area. Issued: October 2018
We have received reports of anti-social behaviour, including reports of drug dealing, rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour on Kate Street. This is around the residential premises and the linking pathways.
Issued: December 2017
What we are doing:After some excellent work, following consultation with local residents the Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Unit, working with the police have secured a closure order on a flat on Kate Street. This flat will remain closed and secured until 22nd December 2018, during which time, further court proceedings will be instigated. Further to this, disorderly behaviour has continued at an associated address on Kate Street. Police are working with the local residents, the Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Unit and local housing to address the problems at this address. Issued: October 2018
