Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
We have received reports of anti-social behaviour, including reports of drug dealing, rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour on Kate Street. This is around the residential premises and the linking pathways.
Issued: July 2017
What we are doing:One local person believed to be linked to this behaviour has been found guilty of a criminal offence and is currently in prison. Partner agencies will look to remove their right to their property in the future. A drugs warrant has also been obtained and when completed an arrests was made and drugs found. The beat team will monitor if these actions have resolved the issue. Issued: October 2017
St Clement's Court, Comet Close was inherited onto the Fosse Ward area from the New Parks area in 2016 following the council boundary changes. It originally house retired people but was purchased privately in 2009 and it now contains three blocks of flats. We are aware that there are numerous issues stemming from the location including anti-social behaviour, civil incidents and crime.
Issued: May 2016
What we are doing:Patrols have continued in the area of St Clement's Court. We have planned events to speak to local residents. Work continues with other agencies to stay on top of the issues. Issued: October 2017
