Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
To combat domestic burglaries in villages across the beat.
Issued: March 2018
What we are doing:After a significant increase in burglaries during February and March, a local police operation has resulted in far fewer offences in May. High visibility patrolling of the area will continue to try to keep burglary levels down. Issued: June 2018
To combat vehicle related antisocial behaviour and disorder around the area of Kinchley Lane during the evening and overnight.
Issued: January 2018
What we are doing:There have been fewer reports of ASB from members of the public in recent weeks and local officers patrol the area on a regular basis. During June, a car was seized by the police, having been used in antisocial behaviour Issued: June 2018
The local community have highlighted that they are concerned over the number of vehicles that are speeding through Thurcaston and Cropston.
Issued: June 2017
What we are doing:Speeding is not a problem that the police can solve singlehandedly. As such, this priority will be closed down. Further speed enforcement will take place periodically, depending upon availability of local officers. Issued: June 2018
