Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
there has been an increase in the use of off road bikes using public footpaths instead of roads to get between different areas around Syston. There have also been reports of off road vehicles using public roads driving at speed, carrying passengers, with no lights and not displaying any VRM's. Residents have reported that youths have been using open unoccupied spaces to ride on which is causing a noise nuisance.

that damage to our local council-owned parks has increased in recent weeks. Fences have been cut, signs kicked off fences and parts of the parks damaged. This has begun happening from the date of 09/04/2018. The damage is stopping young children from using the play equipment due to the dangerous condition that it is in. The local council are working with us to try and resolve this problem.
