Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
That damage has been caused and anti-social behavior is taking place around the allotments on Blackways Meadows, Burbage.

What we are doing:The Burbage Dedicated Neighbourhoods Team have been increasing their patrols in the area. A meeting has been held to discuss the issues with key stakeholders. Work is ongoing to gather intelligence and ensure that criminal acts are recorded and investigated and proportionate action taken. We have received an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in and around three addresses on Lutterworth Road, Burbage. Some of these reports are in relation to reports of motor cars being repaired and sold on council land. Other reports centre around groups of people congregating in the area, being rowdy.

What we are doing:The Dedicated Neighbourhoods Team are working with partners to seek a long term solution to this issue. Work has been set up and will continue in the locality to gather intelligence with a view to enforcement and to prevent and detect offences and anti-social behaviour. A vehicle was seized recently for no insurance. Operations aimed at checking vehicles in the area will continue. A Community Protection Notice has been served on a resident, this being aimed at curbing the issues they were causing. Issued: March 2017
