Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
During recent Consultation and Engagements the community have told us that there is an on going issue with street drinking at various locations.
The street drinking then results in noise, litter and Anti-Social Behaviour and has a large impact on the community.

What we are doing:The team are working with the City Council to introduce greater awareness around the Public Protection Orders that are in place to reduce these issues. Patrols will be increased in key locations and education around Licensing to outlets selling alcohol. The Neighbourhood have been completing joint patrols with the Civil Enforcement Officers in areas that have been reported for Street Drinking Issued: October 2018
Consultation and engagement with residents have raised the issue of "spitting" in the street, times given are all times of the day and evening on the Latimer Ward.

What we are doing:The team have linked in with the City Wardens to share the information, they will be tackling the issue with support from the Neighbourhood Team. Issued: September 2018
The Neighbourhood Team will be working with the community to prevent Chain Snatches in the area, we will be running the "cover up " campaign to protect people becoming victims and target those that cause us harm around this offence.

What we are doing:The team have been conducting High visibility patrols in hot spot areas and offering crime prevention advice around how to keep safe and "cover up " jewellery and items of value. Following a recent Chain snatch, the team conducted CCTV enquiries and effectively managed a prompt arrest of the suspect. This person has been interviewed and has currently been released under investigation. Issued: October 2018
