Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Following concerns expressed by local residents and officer observations, the team will aim to reduce the number of anti-social behaviour reports made to Leicestershire Police specifically in the Flax Road and Ascot Road vicinity. In an effort to be most effective, we will work with partner organisations and the local community to reduce the number of anti-social behaviour reports in the locality. This will be regularly reviewed and we will aim to make a positive impact within 3 months.
Issued: September 2017
What we are doing:Local officers have carried out consultations on Flax Road and Ascot Road in response to concerns expressed by residents and officer observations of anti social behaviour (ASB) in the locality. Patrols have increased in the vicinity and there appears to be a significant decrease in instances of ASB. During the last 6 weeks (up to 12th November) a total of 2 calls have been made to Police reporting ASB. We will continue to work with the local community in an attempt to minimise future offending.
