Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
To reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing on Vann Walk and surrounding areas. We hope to achieve this by targeted patrols in the locality and by working with the community and partner agencies to reduce the level of offending. We will measure the success of this by liaising with the public and carrying out crime and anti social behaviour pattern analysis. We hope to see a marked improvement within the next 3 months.
Issued: December 2017
What we are doing:Local officers are working with partner agencies including housing with regards tenants causing Anti Social Behaviour. Trees and hedges in the area have been trimmed back so the area is less hidden from view. The council are looking at the possibility of improving street lighting at the location. There has been an Increase in patrols in the area, in an attempt to identify and take action against the perpetrators with a warning letter being issued at this time. Issued: February 2018
