Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Deepdale Close and Brookside Industrial Estate, Ibstock. Youths causing ASB, littering, damage and drug use.

What we are doing:Sept 16 Neighbourhood Patrols at location continue to be completed. Consultation with residents and the local businesses is being carried out. Youths have been identified and local Neighbourhood officers will target their offending. Discussion with North West Leicestershire District Council and Ibstock Parish Council regarding long term prevention of ASB and crime at this location. Dec 16 We continue to work with Ibstock Parish council on dealing with the criminal damage and antisocial behaviour in the village. A Community Protection Notice has been served on an address due to complaints regarding that location. North West Leicestershire District Council and the Neighbourhood Police team are looking at a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for the village. Patrols continue and the Youth offending (IMPACT) team are endeavouring to engage with the young people. Ibstock College is also meeting with agencies to discuss options to alleviate the problems. Feb 2017 Youths on Brookside Ind Estate found earlier February. Person arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs who is now on bail pending enquiries. No further incidents of ASB to this date reported. Issued: February 2017
