Current local priorities
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months:
Groups of young adults were gathering and using their vehicles in an anti-social manner at locations that are in the heart of the community, such as recreational areas and car parks, this usually takes place in the evenings at sites across Ashby and Forest neighbourhoods and the nuisance caused relates to excessive noise and poor driver standards.
Issued: December 2016
What we are doing:To combat this behaviour the beat team have been targeting the activity and working with partner agencies to find ways to stop the activity from reoccurring In the future. Latest update as of the 23/12/2016:- Charlotte Keedwell of North West Leicestershire council street enforcement team has taken action in relation to the Royal Hotel car park, Charlotte has delivered signage to the hotel who will put this in place to advise that the location strictly for parking at location.
